Men’s Health Week is just around the corner, and there’s no better time to give yourself a nudge in the right direction. At Man Shake, we know that looking after yourself doesn’t have to mean giving up the things you love or making life complicated. It’s about making simple changes, one day at a time, and having a bit of fun along the way.

This year, we’re throwing down a challenge for every day of the working week — each one focused on a different pillar of health: Physical, Connection, Hydration, and Gratitude. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to shake up your routine, these daily challenges are designed to be easy, achievable, and — most importantly — something you can actually stick to.

Enjoy!

The Man Shake Challenges

Here’s your 5-day kickstart plan. No pressure, just a nudge to get moving and look after yourself.

Saturday (Day 1): Physical

2 shakes + 30 mins walk outside
Start your week strong with a simple combo: swap out two meals for The Man Shake and get outside for a 30-minute walk. It’s not about smashing yourself at the gym — it’s about moving your body and setting the tone for the week ahead.

Sunday (Day 2): Connection

2 shakes + connect with a mate and share your weight loss goal
This one’s all about mateship. Have your shakes, then reach out to a mate and share your health goal. You’ll be surprised how much easier the journey is when you’ve got someone in your corner.

Monday (Day 3): Physical

2 shakes + 30 mins walk + 10 push-ups + 10 squats
Let’s ramp it up a notch. Keep up the shakes, add another walk, and throw in a few push-ups and squats. It’s not about perfection — just about giving it a crack and building momentum.

Tuesday (Day 4): Hydration

2 shakes + 3L of water
Hydration is key, especially if you’re upping your activity. Aim for three litres of water today. Your body (and your energy levels) will thank you for it.

Wednesday (Day 5): Gratitude

2 shakes + identify the top 3 things you are grateful for
Take a moment to pause and reflect. Enjoy your shakes, then jot down three things you’re grateful for. A bit of gratitude goes a long way for your mental health and motivation.
