Why I needed to change.
I drive buses for a living combined with not a lot of exercise and eating poorly I just got bigger and bigger and ended up weighing 150kg with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
One day the doctor told me the tablets to control diabetes were not working anymore, and I would need to inject insulin (I'm not too fond of needles), I asked if there was another way and he suggested I drop a few kgs and that would help. So with that in mind off I went and started on The Man Shake.
"At 53 I decided I need to live longer and be more active as my weight was holding me back from doing the things I enjoy."
How did The Man Shake fit into daily life?
I get up very early for work every day, and The Man Shake makes for a fantastic, easy breakfast! I use to drink flavoured milk every day on the way to work, not only do I not crave them anymore, and The Man Shake is cheaper, saving me money!
Getting The Right Tools.
At 53 I decided I need to live longer and be more active as my weight was holding me back from doing the things I enjoy.
Now that I have my health under control I like how effortlessly I can do things and have more energy; I can walk for km's! I'm no longer on medication and no longer have diabetes or high blood pressure.
