Phil stopped making excuses and lost 15kg

I have always considered my health to be good, my work life has been of a physical type up until about 13 years ago when my career had me in a desk job which reduced my daily work exercise hence the kg’s started to appear.
After I retired from full-time work I knew I then had the time to lose weight and get back into shape instead of making excuses.
I wasn’t happy with the numbers I was seeing on the scales & wanted to enjoy my retirement with lots of travel so it was a no-brainer.
My wife was on Weight Watches and so my diet followed hers under the Weight Watches program, however, I still managed to snack in between meals with the wrong food, the same thing applied to the 5-2 diet.
Now that I have lost the weight, I now feel so much better about myself, I have more energy & enjoy the positive comments from family and friends.
Having a sweet tooth was my biggest downfall but after being on “The Man Shake” I have developed a discipline that now allows me to have something sweet as a treat rather than a bad habit.
I know what works for some doesn’t work for all but if you know you need to lose weight then that’s the big step, then you need to decide what diet you should try so irrespective of the diet you choose “you will never ever know if you don’t give it a go” I chose “The Man Shake” after seeing the results from other guy’s I worked with & thought if they can do it so can I.
My wife has been so impressed with my results she is now on “The Lady Shake” & is having success. Along with the Man Shake, I have added some low impact exercise like brisk walking & cycling which has also assisted As retiree’s dining out with a beer or wine can be the norm but if you use that as your weekly treat & stick to “The Man Shake” program for the rest of the week you should be able to experience both the weight loss & the social aspects of life.
As I said before “You’ll never ever know if you if you don’t give it a go” Summer is just around the corner so there is no better time than now to give it a crack and get into shape for those hot summer beach day ahead.
