Who doesn't love a good useless fact? They are just so handy in just about all aspects of life. For instance, they make for a great conversation starter at the dinner table when the conversation is slow. With a slight cough, you clear your throat open up with "did you know...?" everyone instantly stops what they are doing and hangs onto your every word.

Or how good are they for Pub Trivia?  No one knows the answer and BOOM, you pull out the answer, from what seems like nowhere winning the bar tab and the hearts and admiration of your teammates.

Here at The Man Shake, we love food and the only thing we love more than food is interesting facts about food. Here are five interesting and five useless facts about food that you may not have known.
