There are many reasons why you may have slowed and even stopped losing weight. However, don't stress The Man Shake is here to help! The easiest way we can help and offer advice is if you create a Food Diary.

But first, some points to mention.
The name of the game is weight loss but don't just focus on it. How do you feel now you have been on the Man Shake for a while now? You are probably feeling better than ever.

Learning how to have healthier eating habits and lifestyle is the goal of the long-term and sustainable weight loss.

Muscle weighs more than Fat. Truth!
Sometimes the reason weight loss appears to have slowed or even stops because you may be gaining muscle. As you get more active combined with the high Protein diet (from the Man Shake), you are probably building more muscle mass.

Don't stress if you are gaining muscle as this is the goal. You want to turn your body into a fat burning machine, and nothing does this better than having a few extra some muscles. Plus the old lady will love.

But how can I track my success?
Start measuring around your waist and recording that measurement, this will give a more exact indication of how you are tracking. While the muscles in your arms and legs may be expanding a healthy diet combined with the Man Shake will decrease the size of your belly.

Finally, ask yourself, how long did it take you to gain that weight? Did it take years? A lifetime even? Don't worry; it's not going to take you that long to lose it, it just might feel like that long some days.

Simple Food Diary

How to make a Food Diary
The easiest way to track what you eat and drink is setting up a food diary in a notebook or downloading a food journal app on your phone. You'll need to be able to keep track of the day, time,
quantity consumed and what has been consumed (including liquid).

Be honest you're only cheating yourself if you don't write down everything you eat and even record the nibbles while you cook. More importantly, record how many Beers (and alcohol) you are drinking.

For best results write down the size and quantities of what you consume. The more accurate, the better, but you can use an estimate and use your hand or a cup as a guide.

Once you have recorded everything for two or three days, email a copy to us, and either Adam or our Dietitian will take a look and advise from there.

More technical Food Diary counting Calories. We wouldn't recommend this style, but some of you like to count and know more.
