How to cure the winter blues

Why is it they so many of us put on weight in the winter months? The answer is the winter blues - which you often don't realise you are suffering till you can't fit into your swimwear come summer! 

In this week's edition of The Man Shake Video Blog, Adam explains why we are drawn to comfort food and how to navigate through the colder months and keep your weight and health under control.

So the keys to remember are - 

  1. Eat foods rich in Vitamin D - fish and vegetables are a great or start taking a vitamin D supplement
  2. Move! Put on some warm clothes and go for a walk.
  3. Exercise indoors. During a TV ad break see how many push ups you can do.
  4. Enjoy a hearty soup or get the slow cooker out.
